Marketing managers juggling multiple social platforms create posting chaos: logging into Facebook desktop, switching to Twitter mobile app, opening LinkedIn separately to post same product announcement three times manually wasting 45 minutes, missing scheduled post to Instagram because forgot password, and no visibility into which platform drives traffic because analytics scattered across 5 different dashboards—losing engagement opportunities and campaign effectiveness from fragmented social media management without unified control.
Odoo 18 Social Marketing centralizes multi-platform management with unified dashboard controlling Facebook/Instagram/LinkedIn/Twitter/YouTube from single interface, scheduled posting (send now/schedule later), social stream monitoring tracking mentions/engagement, campaign tracking connecting posts to revenue/quotations/opportunities, visitor analytics showing source platform and behavior, push notifications for audience alerts, and attached media management—eliminating platform-switching and providing consolidated analytics improving social ROI 40-60% through data-driven posting strategies.

Best Practices
Schedule Posts for Peak Engagement Times: Don't "Send Now" for all posts. Analytics show LinkedIn engagement peaks Tuesday-Thursday 10am-12pm, Instagram peaks 7-9pm daily. Schedule posts to those windows = 3x higher engagement vs random posting.
Use Campaign Tracking for All Initiatives: Every product launch, promotion, event = separate campaign. Groups posts enabling analysis: "Black Friday Campaign" generated $50K revenue across 12 posts. Which platform contributed most? Campaign analytics show Facebook $35K, Instagram $10K, LinkedIn $5K = adjust future budget allocation.
Tag URLs with UTM Parameters: Target URL field: don't paste bare links. Use UTM-tagged URLs (yoursite.com/product?utm_source=facebook&utm_campaign=launch). Visitor analytics + Google Analytics combined = precise attribution showing exactly which social post drove which sale.

Odoo 18 Social Marketing centralizes multi-platform social management through unified posting, scheduled content, engagement monitoring, campaign tracking, and revenue attribution.
